Let The Church Arise!

"When men are projecting the Church's ruin,
God is preparing for its salvation."

This quote from Matthew Henry comes from his commentary on Exodus 2 concerning the order from Pharoah to kill the male babies of Israel. It serves as a wonderful reminder that God is still in control and that the Church is His Beloved Bride and chosen instrument for reaching the world. Throughout history men have written the obituary of the Church, but much like its Lord, it refuses to stay dead. It rises time and time again. Confounding its critics and abounding in grace. So let us not give into despair in these dark days from the dawn awaits just over the horizon. Thanks be to God!
